Latest News from Victor Harbor Seniors On-Line

For over ten years Victor Harbor Seniors On-Line has been serving the community, and you, by offering computer courses to give you an insight into the world of computing thereby unravelling some of the mysteries that have come with this technological age.

In the beginning students were mostly those who had been given an older computer by their son or daughter with the instruction to ‘send me an email’, but today many of our students have come from the workforce where computing was a part of their job description and they themselves now own a modern up to date computer.

As a result student numbers have dropped off considerably and we have come to the sad decision that our role in the community has changed. We are therefore closing our doors as from the end of March 2012 and the schedule below shows basic courses that we will be running during the months of February and March.

We take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supported us over the years and apologise to those who have only recently ‘come on board’. We hope you will be able to attend some of the courses scheduled for February and March next year to help you gain a little extra knowledge about your computer.

Enrolment day will be on Wednesday January 18 from 9.00am to 12 noonin the computer room at Carrickalinga House. If you are unable to make that date, the office will be open every Friday from January 20 through to the end of March between 1 and 3pm.
